Saturday, December 6, 2014 - Brought to a tastnig. Double decanted, left bottle open to breathe on the table approximately 3 hours before serving. Served in the same flight as some high end red Burgs and felt right at home.

Nose was floral, savory, dried cherries with some funk. Palate had a little funk but was really more about the red fruit, loam, rosemarry and oak all coming together. Medium weight, nicely balanced, long finish. Has many fine years ahead of it but is in a fantastic place right now.
