Friday, August 5, 2016 - Wow! Chef Alex of Fofo's suggested this wine the night before via WhatsApp. The sommelier opened the bottle at 11am anticipating sipping around 2pmish after our Cava and Albarino. Perfect planning! Light, brownish-red on the eye. Bouquet of veggies, mellow yet over-ripe black cherries, touch of toasted oak, liquorice and leather. Sous bois. Palate of mellow black fruits, coffee, some chocolate with medium-bodied tannins and elegant, smooth finish. Excellent!
