Thursday, March 5, 2009 - I was having a little trouble removing the cork which made me worried. Not very brownish as I've expected, with classic leather,truffles, cassis, dark fruits, mineral. Surprisingly good and not too old at all. Started off velvety soft tannin, and got more tannic with time. An eye opener for me as this is my 1st aged Latour. The only down side of this wine was that its finish was pretty average. 92+
