Sunday, March 9, 2014 - Smoky, with some chalky tannins reminiscent of cocoa powder. Oak is a little strong for my tastes. Fruit is there but masked by all of the other stuff going on in this wine. I liked it, but it's definitely not one of my favorites from Carlisle.
