Tuesday, December 30, 2014 - Make my funk the "C" funk! That's the first thought that came into my mind when I opened this outstanding cool-climate Syrah. It's nearly opaque purple color. With some air that "funk (which I personally dig) is replaced with black fruits, violets, and graphite aromas that leap from the glass. On the palate it's lighter-bodied, and polished with a harmonious character that shows blackberry, black raspberry, and a bit of boysenberry flavors. Long mineral laced finish. #keepsyrahweird
