Thursday, June 8, 2017 - Still young but starting to open and show more signs of development. 2010 is slow for Syrahs. Purple in color. The nose has black raspberries, some black pepper, and a bit of roasted meats and herbs. On the palate, sort of middle of the road (climate wise in profile). Some ripe black raspberry fruit but also some cooler notes. Great acidity. Slight tannins. Long finish. Really a very nice Syrah. No hurry.
