Tuesday, January 4, 2022 - I've had the '18 and '19 relatively recently and this reaffirms that this wine only gets better after 10+ years. The flavor of this wine is massive while remaining lithe on the tongue. Loads of ripe black cherries, rhubarb, and strawberry. On the palate; ripe plums, carrot juice, forest floor after a good rain. We drank half, stoppered it, then came back 2 days later and it had morphed into a 1er cru burg. Cassis, perigord truffle and dirt. Soft silky tannins. Outrageously good wine.
