Saturday, June 25, 2022 - Deep ruby with remarkable clairity and a nice bright rim. Very expressive nose of sweet fresh licorice and pine forest. Palate is richly textured with currant and dusty bramble berries framed by well integrated oak. The finish is rich and long with good acidity and balance. I drank one shortly after release and thought it was lean but it’s plumped up and ready now. The 15.1% abv is apparent but not overwhelming. Delicious and quaffable as a cocktail wine and goes well with food;that’s why I’m drankin’ the whole motherfuckin’ bottle. Cheers!
