Deep ruby/garnet core, pale garnet rim. Nose is still quite youthful, showing ripe red cherry, spice, vanilla, sour edge. Medium/full bodied, mouth-filiing ripe red cherry fruit, spice, round/supple tannins, welcome fresh acids, and a good length, harmonious finish. Very good indeed, drinking well but no need to hurry here.
