90 Points

Monday, July 28, 2014 - This is one of those white wines that would benefit from a decant. We originally served it at refrigerator temperature, which only revealed a lot of raw acidity. Let it warm up, get some air, and things start to evolve. No matter what, the acidity is the core impression of this wine. The color is golden with a slight tinge of green. The nose, and the palate, both smell and taste exactly like caramel coated green apples. There is a slight amount green garden vegetative taste. Medium plus bodied. Some ginger spice. Maybe even a little bit of almond like oily flavor. We give it 90 points for a long series flavors from lips to finish that change with almost every sip.
