Saturday, April 11, 2015 - Not as fruit driven as other German Rieslings. Instead of the tropical fruit, this encounters some very spicy notes peppery, ginger and a little lemon or maybe more like lime actually. In the nose, you also find a bit of elderly flower. Accompanying the spicy notes is a gravel like minerality keeping the tastes very fresh and precise. To me a bit atypical Rheingau with the lack of tropical fruits. Still a wonderful effort.
