Saturday, September 24, 2011 - From half bottle. Quite smelly on first opening, but that blows off within 30 minutes leaving a lovely bouquet of black raspberry with a hint of sandalwood. Appropriately mature appearance with dark garnet center and onion skin edge. Silky and mellow in the mouth with dried red fruit, licorice, cedar, and a touch of iron on the long finish. Forest floor. Delicious, but fully mature. Won't get better, but terrific now. Definitely drink soon.
