88 Points

Sunday, June 9, 2013 - As the initial reductive elements level out the wine offers a pure fruit and herb driven character with noticeable scents of white peach and mint, in a bright and airy style. The mouthfeel is mixed. On the one hand it offers an interesting interplay between sweetness and bitterness and on the other the fruit appears as overshadowed by the alcohol (even at 8%) with the (rather low) acidity not feeling precise enough, leaving a somewhat harsh feel towards the finish. This is one of those for which the term "interesting" is indeed appropriate. Too young, time will tell.
