Monday, September 1, 2014 - Pretty much everything I want in a young Gewurz - balance, focus, purity and a clear message as to what the variety is, what it means and how it should 'be'. One of those rare wines (for me) that was just as good with food as it was by itself. More of an aromatic sensation of sweetness than actual r/s at this point. Fresh acids, great harmony, and flat out delicious. I wish I had a case. The 14,0% abv is fully resolved; drink thru 2019. recommended
PnP, served non-blind with Jalfrezi chicken curry over Jasmine rice. The wine seemed to really pop with the side of grilled zucchini.
