We did not decant albeit it would probably help. This is now bang on the money. The oak used in its elevage had been fully assimilated and a is a pure expression of green apple, green citrus fruit and very mineral. It is well round but not oak fatty any more, the acidity is there and is just a beautiful expression of chardonnay. We can see some similarities to the Terlan Raritas in a way which keep ageing gracefully. No premox issues here and we would have loved to have one more bottle to try in 4-5 years. We do hope we cross paths again with this beautiful wine.
