Wednesday, October 31, 2012 - Rich medium purple. First whiff had a hint of reduction or sulfur but that quickly blew off. After an hour in decanter the wine started to sing. A truly wonderful bottle of wine. Sweet dark fruits, red fruits, brambles, minerals, very typical Tempier flavors. Perfect balance. Primary, but very interesting and a joy to drink. This will age magnificently on balance. Kind of like the 08, but with more stuffing. One of the best young red wines I have had all year.
