Saturday, May 4, 2013 - Light yellow with a green shimmer --- Nose grassy, herbal, mineralic, some gooseberry, some green tea, some citrus notes --- Palate fresh, vivid, hay, herbs, gooseberry and citrus again, minerality, mountain creek water, tea aspects, elegant tartness --- Finishes on tart notes, citrus notes and bark. Somehow it competes with New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs in its pleasing factor but is much more terroire accented, offers more depth and individuality. This is a stylish European answer to crowd pleasing new world Sauvignon Blancs.
