Thursday, February 28, 2013 - This is an Alexander Valley cab from Sonoma County. The wine is a quite dark ruby with a heavy nose of black fruit, esters, vanilla, black olive and caramel. This wine is best when you let to breath for several minutes. The mouth feel is full bodied with sweet big fruit to a tannic finish that is lasting with a lot of glycerin. This is a lovely wine with food from big heavy fair to snacks.
