90 Points

Friday, March 9, 2007 - Very dark ruby red. Lovely nose of expresso, roasted meat, black currants, cassis, and sweet tobacco. Medium bodied, intense, somewhat austere-- cassis and tobacco up front, with significant graphite notes that lend to an almost tangy note in the mid-palate. Tannins are present but well-integrated. Graphite and cassis notes on the finish. Very Bordeaux, very good.
