Sunday, August 31, 2014 - Gorgeous deep rich purple, almost a pomerol. On the nose oaky but not unpleasantly so. Characterisic blackcurrant, petrol (a little hotness perhaps) but also a hint of nut.. Is it walnut. Rich creamy palate, tannins are smooth. I was apprehensive having read Jancis Robinsons review but I really enjoyed this, yes it is sweet and Oaked but that's part it's make up... Tarted up finish... No really for me.
