Saturday, January 23, 2016 - I really tried to lik this wine. But at the end of the day, there were too problems for me; too much oak, and not enough acid. The fruit was still there and was sold - peach, pineapple and pear. The texture, as with all the sojourns, was awesome. But the creamy, vanilla-tinged notes tilting towards butterscotch turned me off. The mineral notes that I got in the last couple bottles was not present. This is an excellent, well made wine. It's just not my style.
