Tuesday, October 28, 2014 - My first impression was similar to that of some of the other reviewers: That this was a just "acceptable" wine, but one that didn't have much going for it other than a lemony bite.

As it warmed up and got more exposure to air, however, it changed. My second glass was about an hour out of the fridge. By then it was much "rounder" and less sharp, with some detectable minerality and a plusher mouthfeel. I drank the wine with trout served with plenty of butter and toasted almonds.

At the right temperature (and perhaps also as a result of some time to breathe), this wine is absolutely decent and works well at the table. I purchased it for $9, and for that price it's a very good QPR. I'd consisder buying again at that price.
