Monday, April 25, 2016 - This was drank at home using the Corvin system. The wine was slightly cloudy at first and mid deep purple in colour with a slight brown tinge to it. It had quite a noticeable nose of bacon and smoke alongside with some dark berries to it. In tasting, I got flavours of dark cherries and vanilla as well as some pepper. It was also quite a sweet wine and had some hotness to it. Finally, the acidity was light and the tannins were at a nice mid level. This bottle was in a very good place tonight.
