Tuesday, February 1, 2011 - Opened not decanted. Took to Bellanico in Oakland with KPAK and JPAK. I really thought this was going to be a pop and pour. Wrong. We finished the bottle around the 1 hour mark and it was just beginning to be about 1/2 open. This needs a good hour to 2 hours of decanting. Shows no sign of age. Dark bing cherry notes; light in body that ends with a semi-dry and slight citrus finish. Nicely balanced throughout. Good +.
