Saturday, April 13, 2024 - After a 3 hour decant this showed very well. Violets and purple fruits, hints of leather. Viognier aromatics present. Delicious but doesn’t have the Syrah heft. As good as the 2007 I had a few weeks back. At its peak. Day 2 now with a glass left. This is now denser, rich and more textbook Syrah. I suggest decanting morning before for maximum enjoyment.
