Saturday, March 20, 2021 - Rich and concentrated wine. Shows a hint of alcohol on the nose and palate, but there’s generally enough fruit to cover. Smooth and integrated at this point, mild tannins, with mild pepper notes sprinkled in. It’s a good Syrah, but I think I preferred this vintage younger when it has similar depth but a bit more freshness.
