Saturday, February 19, 2022 - It’s surprising to me that this wine has received 79, 84 and 13.5/20 from three serious reviewers (and 80 on CT at time of posting) with a window of 2004-2008. Not claiming this is a big wine, but I’d rate it closer to 90 than 80. I’m also drinking this 14 years after its suggested drinking window, which in itself is a bit of a joke (the suggested window, that is). Did not take any notes, but from memory it offered a pretty typical aged Saint-Émilion experience with sous bois, integrated oak spices and red berries.
