Saturday, July 16, 2016 - Pale lemon straw, some greengage and white grapefruit on the nose with a hint of oak. Full flavoured on the palate, some passion fruit and ripe yellow citrus. The oak is well integrated and non obtrusive and adds some grip and texture. Still fresh with good acidity. Plenty to enjoy, but I prefer the standard bottling which best displays Albarino freshness, unencumbered with oak.
