Saturday, February 23, 2019 - Completely exceeded our expectations. We bought this at Felsina in 2004 or 2005. I've had this in our cellar since then and always passed it by. I began to believe it was well past its best. Not so. Wonderful and mature, but plenty of life left. Sweet but not cloying, thanks at least in part to healthy acidity. A little Madeira-like. Aromas and flavors of candied orange, roasted almond and warm spice. 26 years young. Quite a treat.
