Saturday, March 2, 2013 - Wanted to write a follow up review on this wine as we shared a bottle with friends after returning home from barrel tasting in Sonoma this weekend. I am beyond impressed with this wine, especially after having tasted some fairly high-end zins both in the barrel and the bottle over the past few days. I don't know if it's the quality of the fruit in Lodi or what, but the balance, structure, and mouth feel just work. It's jammy without being too fruit forward, and has a nice depth and mineral finish without being too flinty. For what you pay this wine seems like a no-brainer.
