Saturday, October 25, 2014 - It was a lovely present. Drank a Valpolicella just before it (and a Pomerol) and it was a school night. Again. Went very well with roast duck. Surprisingly soft and elegant I thought. Has some oak and dark berries and chocolate in there. But it's a solid decent Rioja Reserve. Think 2009 was a good year there in Spain and it is well reflected in this year.
