91 Points

Sunday, January 18, 2015 - PNP. I would mistake this for an older Burgundy blind. Complex nose of earth, cherry, berry, herbs, sweet spices, menthol, licorice. Smooth, textured, but a tad hot on the palate. Medium+ body, high acidity, medium tannin, medium+ finish. Very nice. Will perhaps get better with a couple more years' age - maybe smooth out the slightly rough finish.
