Saturday, June 9, 2001 - Consumed in hotel room at the Venetian in Las Vegas, brought from my personal cellar. Light gold with a brisk bead of tiny bubbles. Yeasty, toasty nose with a hint of nuttiness and a slight brandy-like overtone. Brisk spritz on palate, creating a creamy texture. Complex flavors similar to nose. Long finish. Outstanding but the fruit is fading compared with previous tasting 6/99.
