Thursday, November 21, 1996 - Champagne Tasting 1996 (Lafayette, Ca.): Soapy and gummy on the nose, sweet, fruity wine on the palate, improved during the tasting, lots of fruit but delicate, elegant, big body, nice finish. My #3 and Group #3. $90 retail.
