To me, this is a pretty quaffer, with some riper, larger aromas (like cola and jammy strawberry and dark cherry), alongside some cooler aromas, say rose petals and unripe plum, which linger in the background. Those two last elements prove a saving grace that allow me to continue drinking. Wonder if this is a blend of parcels which ripened differently? Anyhow: respect to Kenny the winemaker, as this blows the balls off of so many stickier, hotter, shoddier domestic PNs. That this wine has any sense whatsoever of leanness is an accomplishment..that it's enjoyable at $20 to start off with is already killing it vs so much crap out there.
