Saturday, April 28, 2007 - Absolutely lovely champagne in its prime. Gentle yet persistent mousse that forms a couronne in my glass. DP in 1985 is a middleweight, not big and muscular but not delicate and filigree either. Pleasant aroma of considerable complexity including wheat thins, but otherwise difficult to characterize. Excellent depth and the finish is long and lingering. This is the perfect age to drink this wine for my taste.
