Thursday, January 27, 2022 - Big and dark, never would have guessed this was grenache, or that it's 13 years old! Opaque garnet, aromas reserved at first, opened slowly over several hours, slightly sweet dark fruits. Very full-bodied on the palate, lots of dense concentrated black fruits, still plenty of tannin. Drinks like a 5-10 year old wine. Not much complexity. I'll hold my other bottle a few more years but I'm not sure it will make much difference.
