Saturday, October 17, 2020 - Uncorked 1 hour prior to serving into Burgundy red wine glass (“No” day): Pale ruby with bricking rims, no visible deposits.

Hard not to describe this as top notch Burgundy nose with pristine red berry and cherry fruits, florals, some meaty and sous bois notes.

On palate this is still quite tight in a good way upfront and opened up nicely during the course of dinner. Clean and persistent finish. Served blind and cannot believe this was a Passetoutgrains... let alone 1999...

93-94 points. Very impressive wine!
