Friday, November 7, 2014 - I have to agree with Merzbow on this. Low performance. Although the cork was ok, the wine seemed to be corky from opening to drinking 2 hours later.
I had this experience already on previous occasions, so I guess it's either above average bottle variation, or just a corky year for ClG.... (However beside that, the nose is quite sexy with sweet fruits which are still there. The color of the wine was ok, so I don't think it's about a closing drinking window).

11/7/2014 7:24:00 PM - This has been my experience with the last two bottles. Very odd. The bottle opened in 2013 was singing, and felt like it would go another 10 years. Then the two I opened this year plus these last 2 TNs indicate something has gone wrong this year. Or just a coincidence ?
