Wednesday, April 27, 2016 - Opened at home and slo O at 1pm. Decanted at 3:00 pm. Back into bottle at 5 pm. Opened again at restaurant at 6 pm and served with Beef Wellington 1 hour later. This wine had a nice bouquet on opening but was very closed on the palate. After double decant it was beginning to open and when served it was nearing peak. This wine was lush with black fruit, complex structure, balanced with silky smooth tannins, and showing really well tonight. Will keep for several years but no need to wait.
