Tuesday, February 14, 2017 - Had a few bottles in 2015, 2016 and 2017. This needs decanting for good 2-3 hours for sediments to precipitate and flavours to develop.

The colour is dense deep ruby.

On the nose, it gives cherry, plum, earth, spice, herbs, leather and tobacco.

On the palate, it gives generous and complex flavours of plum, earth, coffee and cedar. Tannins are mature and soft. Acidity and flavour intensity are just right. Medium(+) body and medium (+) finish.

With sufficient aeration, this wine is open for business and drinking nicely now. It is also intriguing to see how the flavours develop throughout the night.
