96 Points

Saturday, April 6, 2019 - This was beaming and it grew for about 5 hours before it was gone. It was by far the best bottle from the case that I have been holding. Maybe this is just my kind of Bordeaux with its old school clay filled, earthyness and coffee notes. The fruit is red and super concentrated and feisty, giving the old stench all the lift it needs to make the old wine fresh and exotic at the same time. Long, bruising finish with lots of tannins...Ways to go...I see this getting better and better. 95-96 today and 96+ in the future. Drink or HOLD
