Wednesday, December 4, 2019 - Friend's birthday dinner at a local steakhouse, with the 2000 Canon la Gaffeliere, 2000 Pontet Canet, and 2003 Leoville Poyferre. All were popped'n poured at the restaurant.

Despite no decanting, the Canon la Gaffeliere is in a great drinking window, and continues to thrill. Dark fruits, and an aroma that doesn't quit. Another consistently outstanding bottle and a favorite product.
