Saturday, April 18, 2020 - Absolutely stunning, and drinking at a peak of maturity. Very ripe and rich, yet impeccably balanced. Meaty notes, classy toasted oak handling, brilliant inner core of focus, and a spicy/gamey note that adds huge nuance. As it developed in the glass, the hipness of the wine slightly masked the exquisite focus, but I have no problem seeing this wine drinking well for another decade.
