Tuesday, September 29, 2020 - very similar to my last tasting note in July 2020: medium red, brick rim - effusive but mature nose of red fruit (cherries, plums, cassis) layered with lead pencil and mineral complexity - full mouth with soft, ripe tannins - very good acid-fruit-tannin balance - as per several other reviews, the finish is somewhat short and does not quite match the rest of the wine - clearly has the potential to go 10+ more years, but drinking beautifully now - neither choice would be wrong!
