Tuesday, July 28, 2015 - I was intrigued by the extreme disparity in the reviews of this vintage. However, I was pleasantly surprised! This wine drank great! Decanted two hours. Dark in color, no visible sign of aging. On the nose it does reveal vanilla as is typical for Silver Oak Cab. On the palate it was silky smooth with a pleasing palate of ripe dark berries and mellow spices. Ready to drink now before fruit starts fading.
