Monday, September 14, 2020 - Nice nose of dark fruit, forest floor, spice. Took a couple of sips and immediately thought to myself, Hmm, one dimensional. But, as the wine sat in the glass it opened up. Vanilla, blackberry, a touch of cherry. And, a tannic structure that built upon itself following a couple of sips. Still had come chops. Surprisingly long delightful finish. Had to admit, I was surprised.
