Monday, June 13, 2016 - Really nice nose, Northern Rhone aspects with New World Syrah thrown in, loads of bacon grease and oil form a ham, cherry, strawberry and other medium red fruits, Cigar and vegetation, amazing nose. Palate has an initial attack of bright red fruits, cooking spices, rhubarb, meat and a fairly sour bitter finish. Hopefully with some air or age that finish improves as it's all good until that.

8/24/2016 9:12:00 PM - your tasting note on this wine really hits the spot. wow. i just opened this wine and after a 1hr decant, it's not showing as well as it should. i will revisit after a full day decant.
