Sunday, March 13, 2022 - At first a brooding woodsy nose, black tea, with dark cherry and forest berry fruit, loam, moss, and cooling herbal notes, Mid plus weighted for pinot. Sappy and dense, yet still not heavy, with more dark pinot fruit, undergrowth, moss, iron, and some stemmy notes. Mature, and spice and savory as much as fruit. Quite long. At peak with little signs of impending decline.
