Monday, August 8, 2005 - Oohh - waited too long to drink this one. The cork had signs of wine to the top, and it disintegrated as I extracted it. The wine wasn't lost, but it was very underwhelming, with little flavor and a very weak, short finish. Recommend anyone with this wine consider opening it soon, but have a back-up in case your bottle was like mine. It did open up over the course of the next 90 minutes post-uncorking, but was disappointing for an 8 yr wine.
